This project involved large-scale safety improvements along a critical Tauranga route, specifically focusing on widening the existing footpath to enhance pedestrian and cyclist safety and accessibility.

Our team delivered essential services required to execute this vital infrastructure upgrade in a high-traffic industrial area.
Traffic Management: Implementing sophisticated traffic control plans to ensure the safe and continuous flow of vehicles on Hewletts Road while work was underway.
Pavement Marking: Applying new, durable line marking to clearly delineate the newly widened footpath, vehicle lanes, and any necessary changes to road geometry, maximizing safety for all road users.
Executing infrastructure work on a major commercial and transport corridor presented a significant challenge. Our key objective was to keep the public and local business owners happy by minimizing noise, access restrictions, and congestion, ensuring day-to-day business operations were impacted as little as possible.
Through proactive stakeholder communication and efficient works scheduling, the project was successfully completed with no incidents. The outcome delivered a safer, wider footpath, meeting the NZ Transport Agency's safety goals and improving connectivity for the local community.
