This project constituted a comprehensive, large-scale series of safety improvements and infrastructure upgrades within the heart of Tauranga City, designed to modernise the central business district.

Traffic Management: Developing and maintaining detailed, dynamic traffic control plans to navigate simultaneous construction activities while ensuring public safety and vehicular flow in a highly pedestrianised environment.
Pavement Marking: Implementing new and updated line marking throughout the project area, including parking bays, pedestrian crossings, cycle lanes, and directional arrows, to clearly define new road layouts and enhance safety.
Operating within a vibrant CBD environment demanded careful coordination. The central challenge was successfully managing the works to keep the public and local business owners happy. This required proactive communication, flexible scheduling, and a focus on maintaining access to retail and commercial properties throughout the construction phases.
